  5. My friend was ordering a dress under her account. She is a first time customer and while she was in the process of ordering it showed that the promo code for the $10 off was applied. And she wanted 2 day express shipping so it showed it was applied also. I used my credit card information in checkout and before submitting her purchase I looked it over and it showed it would be added and the amount was correct. After purchase the receipt showed that her $10 was not taken off and the 2 day express shipping wasnt applied to the order either. I want the order fixed and to be contacted or me and my friend will no longer be customers and take our business elsewhere! And I we both will be writing a review if not fixed that thredup is scamming

    Hi,
    I used code GORGEOUS40 for 40% off my first order and the discount showed when I was checking out, then as soon as the order went through it showed I paid full price. My order # is 7828126. It shows I paid $142.94 but with the discount I should have only paid $92.94.
    I looked all over the website and through the email confirmation and could not find a place to cancel my order, as I will not be purchasing it for full price.

    Please either refund my order or take off the $50. Thank you.

  9. This was a small company that excelled. At this point I really feel that they need to have a customer service team to field calls. They don’t have that, and so we are left to wonder and wander. Rosemarie, your entry here makes me very nervous. I am about to use a code, don’t have much money, but hey, a woman is entitled to a shirt or two here and there right? I am so afraid that I might be charged full price, now that I’ve read this. I haven’t been to their site in quite awhile, so they sent me a promotional code saying take 10% off of your order with this code. I applied the code and it seems to have taken off what it was supposed to take off, but I’m worried that I will experience what you’ve experienced. Their return policy is absurd. The three options? none of them work in our favor. They work in their favor. Let’s say I paid a total of eight dollars plus their high shipping cost for an order. I get it, and it doesn’t fit or isn’t what I thought it would be. My best option, or to have my money reverted to my card is to purchase a nine dollar shipping label? What sense does that make? So I’m paying more to ship it back to them than my refund? Or at least most of it. In essence, I’m only getting back approximately three dollars or so. Come on. You’ve got to be kidding me.There are definitely some problems with thredUP, and they need to pay attention. Customers are the heart of any business, and if they don’t treat us with care, they WILL lose us. Happens all the time. The Internet is now jampacked with sites like theirs. Online resale. Look at eBay! You can find any and everything on eBay. Now sure threadUp is nice, because you can find designer clothing at a fraction of the price, but I’ll bet you if I were to google “Sites like thredUp” I would end up with at least 8 to 10 sites that do what they do. I’m sorry you’ve had this experience, and worse yet, can’t get ahold of anyone to help you!

    I signed up with ThredUp and its telling me this “Thank you, we will notified you by email as soon as our service is available in your country”

    Please note I do not request for items to be sent to other country, I always shop in USA only while i am overseas.

    Kindly take into consideration that sometimes USA people have to work overseas and do not have time to shop in USA, so when they are able they will shop online upon returning back to USA.

    Do not assume because we are shopping from overseas we want international shipping.

  12. I have submitted two bags to Thread up and the return on those bags has been disappointing. However, more disappointing is when I start getting emails about bags that I did NOT submit and I can’t get ahold of anyone to correct the error. I have tryed chat, email, phone, but I get no response. I am sure the person that submitted that bag is going to wonder what happened to it but they aren’t going to have any more luck finding out than I did in getting a response.

  14. Apparently they could care less about having customer service available when necessary! Ordered a dress 3/8/18, shipped and should’ve been at my PO 3/9. Today is 3/22 NO PACKAGE! Whoever they ship through screws up! I have emailed Thredup 3 times in a 5 day period and left a voicemail today- STILL NO RESPONSE! All of us customers who are having issues have no problem leaving negative remarks and presuading good customers to other sites for their shopping needs! Maybe getting the place shut down will eliminate all headaches!

  28. I have sent a total of 15 emails, finally got a nice reply from a lady named Stephanie. Who asked me to contact her and let her know what my problem was about. I spent a very long time writing a complete story on what my problem is. She said to email her. Which I have several times and it comes back says server does not take relay messages. I am elderly and am very poor at knowing how to use my IPad. I purchased it because we have 21 great grandchildren and this is how we contact them. I started buying cloths from thredup because we are on SS and to buy new cloths are very expensive. I cannot complain on the orders I have received. But the order I am upset over was one that they charged me full price when it was a CODE severalgarments. I feel I should be reinverset for what they took away from me. I would very much like to speak with Stepanie at support. I have tried support phone numbers but always busy

  29. I was sent a visa debit card that was good until 3/25. It now has a zero balance because of inactivity on the card. They put this notice in the very fine print. Now I have nothing for all the clothes that I sent you. Can this be fixed?

  30. I am also having trouble trying to get ahold of customer service at ThredUp. They shipped items that either do not fit, are not my style or either for younger women who can wear shorty shorts that do not cover their behind or for someone in their 80’s or not my colors. They did not respond to my emails and when looking for their phone number to discuss this it is not their phone number or is out of service. If anyone has their PHONE NUMBER, can you please reply because they are not.
