FYI – Are you aware that some of the offers that are made thru kohl’s offering rebates are shame? Last December there was a rebate if you purchased four small appliances you would get a rebate of $36. I did this, received the rebate card. Tried to use it and it was not accepted. Not even at a Kohl’s store. Finally in July my husband got on the phone with them, spoke with someone form ? India, and was told everything was taken care of. Wait 10 days and the card would be reinstated. Went to Kohl’s today and card was invalid. Called the number on the card and the person I spoke with told me that a purchase had been made at the Easley store in July and the amount was all used! My take on this – the person on the phone made the purchase against the card and had us wait 10 days until it cleared so he was free and clear. Maybe I’m paranoid but I don’t think so. In 2007 same thing happened with a Dockers card. Will never buy anything with a rebate again from Kohl’s but thought you might like to know what is going on. Store personnel told me I was not the first person with this problem.
