  1. To whom it may concern. I am looking for emergency help for Mr. Thomas Gowak. He has received a tax collection notice from your IRS department dated December-14-2017 requesting full payment of taxes due within 7 days. Mr. Gowak just finished an oil rig contract for Chevron, and was paid partial amount. The taxes are for this job completion payment. As Mr. Thomas Gowak is a Canadian Resident, he has now been forbidden to leave the United States until payment has been made. First off, he kneeds to be able to get off the oil rig and be brought into Alaska where hopefully the is a Canada Wide Bank where he could transfer payment. I don’t know Alaska or it’s taxation rules, but it appears that as long as Mr. Gowak is unable to get off the oil rig, How is he to be able to pay his taxes. I am aware that he has no phone service on the rig, So I, his partner am desperately trying to get him the help he needs in order to pay the taxes and come back home to Canada. The letter which Mr. Gowak received has a ref# 014/GT/RS It was signed off by a Mr. Adam Duncan. (No written signature) just typed signature. The agent that spoke with Mr. Gowak was Daniel. That is all I know. My final question on Mr. Gowak’s behalf… Is there an IRS agent that can accompany Mr. Gowak into Alaska to settle his taxes in the amount of $52,705.00 Thank you, and I hope to hear back from someone soon.
