  2. Hey Purchase the devise for my daughter and the customer service is bad, do not buy or go with the company.

    1. Doesn’t matter how you do it, you belong for life. I cancelled, still got billed for another six months. Then, when I ported the number over to a different provider, they started to double charge me! Contact the BBB (they’re located in Los Angeles) and start a complaint against them.

Don’t bother calling customer service, they’re ill-trained and just keep parroting lies and inaccuracies over and over.

  3. This company is a horror show. Their customer service people are incompetent — and, hate to say it, but liars. I was given complete misinformation about my account, plus wrong information as to where to send a complaint.

They are NOT free!!!!!!!! And at least in the US, they cost more than a reputable carrier with a decent amount of data. I don’t know whether they’ll show this, but this is my personal history. Read and weep — and then tell EVERYONE to NOT USE THEM!

  4. Tried for days to reestablish an account. Changed password twice. Still could not reach support because site would not take password. Called and was transferred a zillion times to different depts. Could hardly understand reps due to thick accents. Finally, just gave up. Will have to go with some go-phone or the like. Found that BBB has tons of complaints. I wonder why!

  5. Sent a number of emails to you on keeping my 500 mb a month. And was charge for a month after canceled 2 weeks before plan was due called there number a number of times am planing on going to the fcc and the bbb to get this resolved. Can not get ahold of anyone sound like a scam going on plan to call them money if I do not receive a call from.217-799-1058 asp.thank you donald samuel

  6. I went to freedom pop for free service. It’s anything but free. Now, I have another carrier but can’t get freedom pop to give me my account number so I can keep the same phone number. I just reinstated my account to hopefully get the information I’m looking for. I was told today that my phone is still locked to freedom pop. I tried calling about getting it unlocked but had know lock. In four or five months, they’ve gotten several hundred dollars from me. We need to get a class action suit against them for false advertisement.
