  1. On Jan 19,2016 my husband and I flew from Indianapolis AA FLT1074 to Dallas enroute to Hongkong then Phil via Cathy Pacific.AA Record Locator # FGUKPX. In Dallas, we were asked to disembark from the plane due to mechanical trouble. They booked us to Vancouver to take Philippine Airlines FLT 117 to Manila. We were given PAL baggage tags for the 5 luggage we have. They did not return to me my original AA tags.We got to Manila (Jan 21) one day after our original scheduled date of arrival(Jan 20).Today is Jan 23 – day 4 -still no luggage. Called PAL multiple times. Same response – cannot locate luggage. Made a trip to the airport ( 2 hrs from where we stay) to talk to a live person. She called PAL Vancouver who said they NEVER received the baggage.
Our trip to the Philippines was for the sole purpose of attending a class reunion that week. WITHOUT anything to wear ( no under wear) nothing to use for personal hygiene, for almost 5 days is ridiculous!!When I requested PAL for reimbursement they offered $50 – i.e $10 a day! They said American Airlines is responsible for compensation.
    Please HELP!!!!!

Last September 30, 2016, I was going home to the Philippines from San Diego, via Los Angeles. I boarded American Airline Flight No. AA 3015 at the San Diego Airport. Because the Airbus was full, and the overhead bin for hand-carry bags could not accommodate all carry-on luggage, an airline employee took our carry on luggage, put a tag and gave each of us a claim stub, (mine is AA 8888 902879) with no instructions at all. It was the first time for me to experience it (my carry-on luggage taken for safe-keeping), and I didn’t notice that the stub said “Valet Claim Check”. When I disembarked from the plane in LA, I showed my stub to an airport employee and asked him where I can claim my bag. He pointed me to a door leading outside the airport where a shuttle was waiting. I asked the man(obviously the driver) if I was in the right place, showing him my stub and he said “Go right in”. I was taken, with other passengers, to the Baggage Claim Area, about 15-minute drive away, where I waited in vain for my bag. When I asked the assistance of the lady in the office, she called the terminal where I disembarked and she was told that my bag is there (after she asked me to describe it). They told me to wait for another 30 minutes until they find a driver to take the bag to me, but I couldn’t wait that long because I need to catch my PAL flight to the Philippines. I only had 2 hours left before the plane leaves. I was in Terminal 6 and I need to go to Terminal 3 (Tom Bradley International) I was advised to just go ahead and just claim my bag when I reach my destination.
I requested my husband in San Diego to follow up with AA in LA, sending him a scanned copy of my claim stub and my boarding pass. They initially told him that they will send the bag via courier service to our address in San Diego. A day after, when he followed it up again, he was told that the bag was missing. The bag contains important items: a Samsung Note 3, a pair of pants and shirt , underwear, some jewelry (Brighton bracelets), my maintenance medicines, toiletries, souvenir items and important documents from the conference I attended in Nashville, Tennessee; and other items which I cannot recall. There is no paper trail, because my luggage was not checked in, except for the claim stub and my boarding pass which I still have. I didn’t even have a name tag on it because I was certain that I would have my carry-on luggage all the way during my trip. It was the first time that my carry-on was taken for “safe-keeping” during a flight.
Please advise me if my bag could still be traced. Thank you.
