I’m a senior citizen that just got a new computer on a fixed income. This so called tech opened a credit card with out my knowledge. Claiming to be Microsoft support. He was at a place in Long Beach Washington. The name on my caller ID is Linda Grant. His name was John. I’m not at all happy about any of this. Please look into I got the information from the windows icon on the new computer.
On Nov 7, 2019 I purchased Photoshop Elements through Photoshop Express on my new laptop. ORder # 1184827578 for 79.99. It was soon apparent that the program did not work. It’s a piece of junk. I began trying to get a refund immediately. Your online refund program kicked me out every time it was near completion. I went to your virtual agents and live agents who just gave me a phone number. I got disconnected every time I clicked on the department I was trying to get. I’ve tried both ways repeatedly. On Sunday they informed me it was over 45 days (day 46) and I could not get my money back. I am so angry! I cannot afford to lose 79.99 on a piece of junk! If I cannot get my money back I will contact the Attorney General’s office. Is this the way you rip people off?

I received an email this morning from Paypal that I was charged $99.00 by Microsoft Corp. This transaction was not approval by me nor was I informed by Microsoft there was A FEE FOR UPGRADING Microsoft Edge. I am a senior citizen on a modest budget and would not approved this upgrade had I been informed upfront there was a $99.00 charge. Your deceptive business practices are criminal. I can’t believe a company like Microsoft so deceptive, please reverse the download and refund my money. When you don’t inform customers upfront of a fee you take away their choice to decline and that is basically theft.
after your most recent updates my printer stopped working I called into teck support they had me go on 6 different links and enter about 8 different codes now my computer has crash I have no printer no email all pictures are gone the way I pay my bills are gone Microsoft better send someone out to my home to fix the problems they caused or tell me where to take it to be fixed at your cost I am not going to do this over the computer or phone to caused the problem you will fix it or I am going to the states attorney general and file charges . charging me to fix a problem you did is a crime.

I too am frustrated with not being able to talk to a live person in order to go over the new $99.90 charge for the Answer Desk Assure subscription that I have had since 2016 with no problems untill now with this crazy no-live person BS! What happens if a client’s computer goes out so that they cannot get online to get help without talking to a live person? I agree with the people that are complaining to the State Attorney General’s office and I am going the same route too!
A pop up appeared on my computer saying it was, “Microsoft-Widows-Defender”, with a telephone number. It said I could not turn my computer off or it will damage what I had, that malware was present.
the telephone number was 1-888-489-3464. I called, and they wanted control over my computer. When I told them if it was okay for me to call the police on this, if that would be okay, they hung up.
That was when I thought it a scam, using Your Name.

I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to get cancellation and refund for $145.06 for annual subscription for Microsoft Answerdesk. On August 18th was told that it was cancelled and a Credit would be sent to my credit card that they had been charged. Did not happen. Again,, talked to MS agent, who confirmed cancellation and credit had been applied and said would send email with details that I could provide my credit card. Said that system would send email in 5-7 minutes, email has not been received, that was several days ago. Is there anyone at Microsoft who can be believed and who will do what they say they say. So far, I have been unable to find that person. This has been an ongoing issue since June 2021 billing on my Discover card. IS IT POSBLE TO GET SOMEONE TO RESPOND. MY SOCIAL SECURITY FUNDS ARE LIMITED TO TAKE CARE OF NECESSITIES. pLEASE RESPOND!!!!!!
