    Hello, My name is Amy Bush and I want to start off by saying My family & I love Jacks restaurant ! It’s the only fast food restaurant we have ever loved and we still do . But the restaurant in Huntsville Al on Jordan Ln 35805 has given my family bad food for the last time. And we will not be back until we know changes have been made. We would go to this location for breakfast, lunch and dinner . Just because the food is so great and the menu has so many great things to choice from my family of 4 all can find things we want with no problem and i feel the people working at this location has made a bad name for Jacks and I’m very upset ! We miss our family meal from and at Jacks the people are somewhat friendly but its the food that’s has me so upset. The people that work there now will feed me and my family anything And the one thing i have always loved about Jacks is no matter what town I’m in they always care about the food they server But not this location. the past year or less the food has been so bad that we stopped going to Jacks at all ! And I really missed it . We have not been in almost 3 months hoping things have chanced my Husband goes gets breakfast for us all ( me, him & our 2 kids ) And there was stuff on the sausage and i had a LONG BLACK HAIR IN MY PANCAKES ! I have never felt so nasty in my whole life and my husband said his food was not good at all and i was scared to let my daughter eat her breakfast wrap .This has been going on for to long i don’t complain I don’t ask for refund I just want good food and i know Jacks restaurants are not to blame because for years no matter where I go Jacks has always been a great place to eat and I was so happy when this location opened 10 mins from my home everything was great for a long time until all the problems this past year . I tried to wait it out hoping things would get better but with no luck. This restaurant in Huntsville Al my hometown are giving Jacks restaurants everywhere a bad name . Please help I love this place I grew up with my daddy taking me to Jacks as a little girl and I have always remember the great times we had .My father past 5 years ago and i just want to be able t do the same for my kids . But I can’t let people feed my family nasty dirty food . I still feeling sick after eating those pancakes . And I want you to understand this is not the first time this is many many times of getting bad food or going though the drive thru and ordering $40 in food and driving all the way home and half of my food not even being in the bag and i mean many many times . The past year a lot has changed in the restaurant and we want our Jacks back PLEASE HELP US

  2. Great place to eat in Springville AL. The only problem I see is all the underage kids smoking outside at their cars. Not in their cars, just standing beside them in uniform. And after work they stand in the parking lot and do no telling what else is going on. I figured you guys can get this straight before the local authorities get involved. And yes I mean this better get cleaned up. This is a shame to our community to see these underage kids in uniform smoking in the parking lot. Please take action before parents are notified and law enforcement gets involved.

  3. I live close to Jack’s in Mccalla in the Caffee Junction area. I’ll stop by there for breakfast on the way to work most mornings. The employees are friendly and very helpful, but the management there is a joke. The cashiers, cooks, drive thru workers, etc don’t get breaks on a normal basis. The managers get upset when the employees ask for a break and then start treating them like pure crap. They can’t even go to the restroom without the managers getting upset. Not to mention, the laws that are being broken due to no breaks. This is a serious issue and a violation of laws and it better stop before higher authorities get involved. Also, the employees get into trouble for asking the customers if they would like jelly with their breakfast. I mean really, who is that tight on their inventory that you get in trouble for trying to satisfy the customers? I’m in management myself and these folks clearly don’t know how to treat their employees standing on their feet all day with no break. I do expect to hear back from someone and get the “NO BREAK” issue resolved immediately.

  4. First off I’d like to say I love Jack’s food,and I’ve always received quick, cheerful service from friendly employees. The question/comment I have is why comeback sauce is regularly not included even when requested or if you ask for more than one you are lucky to get even one.The same is not true for all other condiments. Does corporate encourage their employees to ration this condiment?

  6. on 5-15-2018 jack restaurant in Tuscaloosa Alabama has a sell on Mushroom Swiss on hwy 69 But I did not see it until on 5/16/2018 neverless I ask the manger and she said we are out of it BUT THE BROAD SAID IT STILL ON SALE AS OF TODAY IT STILL SHOWN THE Mushroom Swiss still on sale WHY ?

  8. Very poor taste to pull through the drive thru , order, only to have the girl at the window say “ wanna donate a dollah” ?.
    What for? Why don’t they just hold up a small cardboard sign with a tin cup at the entrance “ and say “will work for spare change”. Very poor taste.

My family and I eat breakfast at Jacks every weekend because we love the breakfast there, but we cant seem to get order right anymore,we probably eat there 10 or 15 times a month i order extra gravy on gravy biscuit and not only do i not get extra gravy but they are not enough gravy on it to cover up 1 i give up , and i hate it ,because its good when its right.

  9. Yes, we too love to stop at Jack’s for a meal. We have always enjoyed the good food. We did make the mistake of stopping in Russellville, Alabama on Saturday night, August 15, 2018. As we went in the return trays etc., was overflowing and plates and trays all over the top with uneaten food everywhere. We went on in and thought we wanted a milkshake until we saw the ice cream freezer. It was filthy with parts of ice cream from one container to another plus ice cream was all over the sides of the freezer, in the tracks on the sides, the glass on the freezer was spattered with some substance and the chocolate ice cream looked as if some one had put melted ice cream back in the container but somehow missed that wide opening and it ran out over the edge and was anything but appetizing. The tables had not been cleaned off. Napkins on the floor. The chicken had been under the hot lamps for so long that the meat under the breading was over cooked. The chicken was tough to say the least. Oh, yes, and lets don’t for get the biscuits. Well you could have used them in a game of hockey. Overly cooked to a dark brown. This was about 9:15p.m. and we were really looking for a good meal to which we were really disappointed. There were at least six employees there so there was enough help to get things done had they been doing their jobs. If there was a night manager then so sorry you have wasted your money on him and on the rest of your employees too.

  12. I have a complaint about the employees at the north Jacks in Fort Payne Al. Parking in Kilgore Express customers parking and taking smoking breaks I have C.O.P.D. and Astma besides the smoke taking up parking when you have a big parking lot on the other side of the building. Whoever had the new building built there had to be an idiot. There was nothing wrong with the old . I’m a Jack’s customer but I eat at the south store and the one in Tiftonia Tn . The north fort Payne store has poor service and seldom gets your order right . I refuse to even go there. I’m sure you wild do nothing about the employees parking and smoking on someone else but I thought I’d try.

  15. Jack’s in Jasper Alabama is very nasty I got a chicken dinner and my green beans and mash potatoes was not in cups it was a cup full of wet paper towels. No green beans or mash potatoes . So I will be contacting the health department and the lawyer. That’s poor service and then they refused to give me money back. Poor service and discrimination.

    1. We love Jack’s but today we could not get waited on in Florence Alabama on Cloverdale road. The girl behind the counter want to laugh and ack silly with three other young people and would not wait on us I stood there a while never said nothing to us . I you don’t get a good manger it will not be there long. You better get control of this ace fast .

  17. I was very disappointed in the new Jack’s Restaurant in Valley Al. We did not eat our food because there were 10 house flies on our table top and on our food. We complained to the staff and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Excuse me, why not? I did not see a single fly in the McDonald’s across the street. Also, they wouldn’t run our bank’s debit card or the customer behind us with the same bank debit card. We were excited to have a Jack’s in our community but this restaurant has been very disappointing.

  18. I went to Jacks in Hueytown Ala and it’s 10:31 p.m. on a Friday night and the door is locked! They’re supposed to be open until 11:00! What’s going on with your service!! Ugh!!!

Yesterday did it. the last 3 time i got chicken it wasn’t good at all. the first two time i got it. the oil was so old that it didnt smell good and the taste was nasty. because they haven’t change the oil. Yesterday, the chicken was cold, over cook and the oil taste old. this was at Jack’s in Fort Payne, ala. #173.

  20. It’s beyond me how this lousy company is expanding – it’s absolutely awful!

    I had a long wait for a car repair so decided to get dinner. Unfortunately, of the five available restaurants in the shopping center, I chose Jack’s. BIG mistake!

    I ordered the four chicken strips meal. What I got were about eight leftover scraps of chicken strips that were dried out and barely warm; lukewarm, ordinary frozen fries; a dry, hard biscuit; and cole slaw that was only slightly cool. To be fair, the ice water I had to drink was very good and refreshing. 🙂

    I asked to speak with the manager, and told her why I was dissatisfied, adding that I wouldn’t ever be back. Her response? “OK!” That was it! Wow – it’s hard to tell which is worse – the food or the customer “service!”

    This was the Jack’s on Cummings Highway in Chattanooga, and not only are the reviews for it on Yelp bad, but they’re equally derogatory for the other Jack’s restaurants in the area – Ft. Oglethorpe and East Ridge.

    I did call the “customer service” number listed above…and got a recording.

    I don’t think Chick-Fil-A, Popeye’s, Bojangles, KFC, Church’s, or any other fast food place that serves chicken has anything to worry about – even the worse of them has food and service that’s superior to Jack’s. Don’t waste your money here!

  21. Got the big jack breakfast sandwich 2 days in a row with mayo when I asked for no mayo and it is on the receipt both times. I don’t eat mayo. I did not discover this til I was half way home on a hour drive. Both times. I shouldn’t have check to see if it was right. Threw both away and basically lost $10.00.

  25. Your company has just opened a beautiful restaurant in Gray GA. The opening has been a welcome addition to our community and is being received very well. However, I would like to give some feedback as I feel it is much needed. Last night 4/17/2022 I decided to “run” through and pick up a quick dinner. The line was busy as I expected but since the restaurant has only been open a week or so I expected that. I got in line at 7:35 and waited and my order was placed according to my receipt at 7:51. I’m still good at this point. And from then on I sat and I sat and the line was never moving. And it was not even the longest line I’ve been in there as we have eaten there at least 5 or more times. It was obvious that there was an issue inside somewhere but by that time I am stuck in the line as were the other customers just sitting. I finally made it to the window for my order at 8:51PM. I was so frustrated at that point when the person at the window at first could not find my order. I noticed there were minimal employees at the counter and being the line I would have expected something other that the nonchalant attitude of the employees. One lady who appeared to be in a management attire was busy changing a garbage bag and talking to another employee. And the person who took my money for my #4 Cheeseburger meal seemed not to care. Actually she took offense when she handed my bag to me and said “here you are” that I needed my drink which was simply a half & half sweet tea. Then I told her my fries were cold because while she was trying to find my order in the computer it was sitting on the counter behind her. She then literally slammed the window in my face and turned her back to talk to the other employee who was fixing my drink. When she opened the window I explained to her that I had been sitting in line at that time for an hour and 15 minutes or more. I finally got my drink which by the way has a half tea and half lemonade. Which I threw away as soon as I took a sip as it was awful.
    I understand how busy you all get but how the “don’t care ” attitude of the evening shift is to let customers sit in line so long when it’s obvious that there is a problem inside with the function of the staff is beyond me.
    The meal I waited so long for last night was the worst thing I have had from Jack’s since you opened. The food was cold, the drink was simply awful and that was just my order.
    I DO NOT believe in Bashing anyone on social media. However I do BELIEVE in reaching out to let someone know that you need to look into this. The evening crew at the Gray Georgia location needs more training in customer service, the kitchen needs to learn about work flow and how to keep up. I stopped by expecting to wait in line however I never expected to wait in excess of an hour and 15 minutes for a cheeseburger.
    With that said, I would like to send a compliment to the morning crew. I have stopped for breakfast several times and I have always gotten wonderful service. There is a guy that works the window and I have not gotten his name but he is the sweetest and kindest young man. He always tells the customers to have a blessed day. If you had a whole staff like him that treats the customers as he does you would be fine.
    But the evening crew needs some help.
    I do hope someone reads this and addresses this as I’m sure I’m not the only frustrated one. IT WAS AN ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE LAST NIGHT>

  26. Why is it you cook the hamburger meat put it in a draw , when ordered put it unheated with a cold piece of cheese not even a microwave. I’ve contacted Corporate 5 times no return call. Elgin Alabama is the worse. If you work in Corporate and don’t care enough about your company to return a call , that’s says all there is to say about Jack’s. I hope all the people reading this would do what I just did in Iuka Mississippi , I asked for chicken , they answered non prepared, I ask if the hamburger was cooked and taken out of a draw and not heated up , answer Yes. People PLEASE USE ANOTHER SOURCE OF FAST FOOD. IF NOBODY sticks together, and Corporate not caring , it’s not going to change.

    The Chattanooga Tn and North Ga locations won’t need employees much longer because the food and service is far worse than any other fast food restaurant in the area. After reading some of the comments from other locations it sounds as though this area is not the only one that is having problems. This is a reflection on the managment at the corporate level. Will never enter another Jack’s.

  28. I have held off long enough but I am finally going to voice my complaints. We so patiently have waiting for a restaurant to finally come to the Morris area. With restaurants in general being new there I have tried to be patient with this one. However it just keeps getting worse. The service there is unbelievable slow and the workers are so very rude. I had almost rather drive another five miles to the next Jacks to receive better service. They are always out of stuff. Last night at 8:15 they were out of lemonade. Something that I know can be made and used the next day. When I pulled to the window the girl working was rude. This order was one milk shake so it was correct but typically they always get the order wrong. In one particular time they packaged it and handed it to me leaking to which it was all over my car and I returned it to them and asked them to redo. They just need some good management there and someone there to stay on top of these kids and show them how to work.

  29. Last night 10-24-2022 I ordered the 12piece chicken and 2 large sides online. I also paid for the order online and was emailed a receipt with a 9:18 pick up time having place the order at 9:04. I arrived at the restaurant at 9:16 and was told that they only had 4 pieces of chicken left as they stop making chicken at 9. I was offered some chicken fingers or something but that wasn’t what I wanted or I would have ordered chicken fingers.

    I told the employee’s that I just wanted a refund and they said that they could not do that I would have to call cooperate. I asked for the phone number as I confirmed that the number on the email receipt was for the local store without a cooperate number. I looked online and so far have found no listing for a number to speak with anyone concerning this issue. This morning I called the local store to speak with a manager and the phone rings once and hangs up immediately. So as it stands right now I paid 35 dollars and change for nothing. So I recommend to anyone else placing an online order not to pay prior to pickup. Just a final word of note the two employee’s were very nice and apologetic so I have no issue with the staff from last night other than they seemed lost as how to handle the situation which comes down to lack of training or lack of knowledge regarding online refunds once more the lack of knowledge should fall at the feet of someone above them if they were unaware of the procedures.

    The final issue is there seems to be a lack of cooperation between who ever runs the website and perhaps local procedure. If the store no longer makes chicken after 9 at night then the website should not allow me to order chicken after 9 or have some sort of disclaimer concerning this issue that the store might be unable to complete my order. Also a 1800 number or an actual email would be nice instead of one of the general question form on the Jacks website which says it can take 3-5 days to even get a response from someone.

  30. We live in Athens, Alabama and decided to have our Sunday morning breakfast at the new location on Lucas ferry Road on September 24. We were completely blown away when the first thing we noticed is the girl taking the order stuck her hand completely down into the drinking cups to pull one out after handling money and tapping orders on what looked like a screen that is never wiped down. The second thing we noticed there were flies everywhere inside the restaurant. We had to get them off of our food several times. The third thing is all I ordered was a biscuit with cheese and tomato and it was so cold it was as if it had been in the refrigerator. I could not eat it. And the fourth thing was the tater tots were hard as a rock. Very disappointed!
