  1. I had purchased an amplifier for over 1000 s$ and I received a completely defective and mangled product, the seller claims the damages are cause of shipping and the seller said eBay would refund me for the damages and after that there is no responses from the seller

  2. I was on hold for a full hour on the 800-540-3229 number waiting to talk to a human being. Maybe my mistake was in asking for a human being which was even more useless than talking to their computer which spews incorrect and meaningless replies.
    Looks like from some of he other replies above that E-bay refunds are next to worthless too.

  3. I am losing over half of my sales because Ebay is allowing illegal knock-offs to be sold on their site under the original trademark. These illegal items piggyback my listings at a lower price. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE HELP?

  4. Ebay does not stand behind the buyer when a seller lists a product as NIB and it is not. I purchased a product that was over 7 years old, I wanted to return it to the seller, seller wanted to charge me a restocking charge and shipping for a product that was not as listed. Seller and I finally arrived at a compromise, eBay comes back and says I have violated “exhortion” rules for demanding a product that was not what the seller was selling. So tell me when a product is NIB (new it box) shouldn’t it be a current product, not one that is over 7 years old? It was a cosmetic product, subject to improper storage etc.

    eBay can fly a kite, I am outta there. Buyer beware. There are a lot of sellers on eBay who misrepresent products, this is not the first time, especially a brand name product which it was. I was quite familiar with the product because I have purchased it for several years. I was also in retail so I am aware of the marketplace.
